Direct Debit Amendments

Amendments can be carried out with four to five days notice but please allow for any postal delays.

It takes three weeks for your bank to set up a direct debit

 

Yes, you can set up a Direct Debit to come out of someone else’s bank account as long as the account holder signs the bank mandate at the top of the direct debit form. The member signs the bottom section of the mandate.

 

Lurgan Credit Union Limited does not charge for setting up, amending or cancelling Direct Debits. Your bank may charge for setting up, cancelling or amending a Direct Debit. Consequently, you’ll need to ask them about any fees.

 

The Credit Union needs a minimum of four days notice to process an amendment or cancellation to a Direct Debit. Without this notice your bank account may still be debited.

 

Yes you can download a form using the links below or we can post a form out to you on request.  All forms must be completed and returned to our office for processing.
