Junior Savers Week runs from the 26th September – 2nd October 2022
Lurgan Credit Union is delighted to launch its ‘Junior Savers Week’ which will be running from the 26th September to the 2nd October.
During the week, keep a look out on our social media for tips to get children saving.
As part of the week, we will be promoting a Junior Savers Reward Scheme. Junior Savers Sticker cards will be made available to members and each time a child lodges money into their account, a sticker will be placed on the card.

A healthy attitude towards money is crucial to ensure that children don’t develop bad habits when it comes to money management.
Children who develop strong saving habits, learn how to make smart purchases and learn why they can’t immediately get everything they want. In the long term this helps them avoid getting into debt and by teaching the value of saving for the future, you can put them on the road to financial security.
Lurgan Credit Union plays a key role within our community both as a financial partner, through our schools savings scheme, but also in other aspects of the children in our community’s lives. Through donations made to:
