Social Security Payments
Social Security Payments can now be paid directly into your Credit Union account if you are in receipt of:
- Child Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance
- Income Support
- Incapacity Benefit
- State Pension
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Care Allowance
- Employment Support Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment
This list is not exhaustive and changes frequently.
There is no charge for this service.
Benefit(s) will be paid into your Credit Union Social Account and can then be transferred into your Shares, Easy Share Account or can be used towards your loan. Dividends are paid on the Social Account.
To get you started we need your:
- National Insurance Number
- Child Benefit Number (for child benefit only)
- Benefit amount
Please note:
- The time it takes for your benefits to arrive will depend on the social security office
- You can have as many benefits paid into your account as you like
- We only accept electronic transfers into this account
- Benefits will only be paid into your account, not a third party
- The balance on the account can be zero without it being closed
